Wow this is really poor justification for its name, the folks at cloudflare really should not be overloading the term "Operating System" pointlessly like this.

It looks to me like they just wanted to distinguish their product from other AI agents/sandboxes, so they called it an OS to make it sound bigger and better.

Can you explain why you think this is a big deal?
What particular feature/capability made you think this?
I do not disagree but i am curios. Lets have a discussion instead of just throwing feel good vibes around...

Seems like a bug that slipped through with the GSAP split text animation, thanks for letting me know and for the nice feedback.
The app utilises Night Shift directly to provide more granular scheduling controls and quick access features. Snooze is helpful for me when I work late, because if you need to design something, you need to disable tint temporarily and not have to think about it again.
The main aim is to make it easier to manage settings, and give more control to users, not ground breaking, just helpful :)

I'm working on solidifying local LLM work flow so I can stop tweaking the nobs and build things that arn't AI related.
There's tons of people caught up in the AI gold rush, but the value of real products for real people is out there. Even more so when you exclude the "I slapped AI onto this"

There's no need to, the 50 foot view is simply that many alternatives exist and they mostly fall into 3 meaningful weight classes with comparable performance among each class's members: too expensive to use indiscriminately, too big to run at home, and too small for complex work. As for names and faces in between, the overarching conclusion is that we're rapidly approaching commodity status and those don't really matter much

Professional translators don't throw around the word "impressive" like that.
You don't, yet I still stand by my work.
I translated some books up to four times as I refined the process. The default behavior is repeatedly to not attempt to translate text it can't resolve for whatever reason. AIs do have a tendency to hallucinate, and I expended a lot of effort on minimizing this problem to the point it can be considered mitigated.

I just tune out. It’s not worth knowing, following every development in the field. If something works now it will probably work in 8 months even if it’s no longer the new hype thing. Who cares.
Not using any of it is also a valid option though it doesn’t satisfy your FOMO. But nothing ever will.
