this is amazing with tons of granular functionality. Stem separation for me is one of the most amazing uses for AI so far. Something I wanted for years as a guitarist and transcriber. Only the highest hanging fruit remain, and that is separating a mixed down complex waveform that combines different instruments with overlapping frequency ranges like separating out rhythym guitar from the same piano chord and lead lines from individual piano keys. Either way its 95% there and an absolute game changer. Unfortunatley its just going to make new generations of musicians that much better faster :-(

I am an introvert who prefers solitude to human interaction as my base mode. I find most interactions to be draining and unnecessary. They basically only increase or serve as a source of stress while offering nothing meaningful that somehow improves my mental state. I probably had this tendency but never had enough solitude to really recognize how much I preferred it. It is actually addicting and almost impossible to go back. I understand that in terms of social or financial success it’s not conducive or beneficial but in terms of spiritual growth it is. Even for me it’s certainly a useful skill to be able to connect with others and share experiences or material goods. I see many articles about a loneliness crisis so I guess for most people solitude is actually an unwanted state of affairs that causes them distress.

Jared Kushner has been salivating over the real estate for at least a year. He was quoted on it in the international press when he was in the region setting up his saudi fund via the connections he made during the 1st Trump administration. They criticize Biden and Hunter when they are arguably involved in the same types of behavior.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/mar/19/jared-kushne...

One of the USA greatest strengths is the almost unprecedented degree of transparency of governments records going back decades. We can actually see the true facts including when our government has lied to us or covered things up. Many other nations do not have this luxury and it has provided the evidentiary basis for both legal cases and "progress" in general. Not surprising that authoritarians would target and destroy data as it makes their objective of a post-truth society that much easier
