I dont care about faster startup times for steam, as long as its under a minute.

If any big company want a good steam alternative we would have it.

Every alternative launcher, uplay/ubisoft connect, origin/ea app, epic games, gog started with a store platform and stopped. Its like the marketing team just looked at the store but not at the rest of the steam features.

If i get 150-200 ping direct connected to the gameserver, vs 20ping on the cloud gaming vm + 60ms from connection to the cloud gaming, you get a better multiplayer experience.

Never said its the default or that i want convince someone, but it happens to me at least with two games at the evening.

Bad peering.

If my provider has a bad peering to the gameservers, but a good peering to the cloud gaming servers, you get a better gaming experience with cloud gaming.

Its possible.

I used GeForce now for the summer as I wanted to avoid a hot pc in my room.

Any game I played with GeForce now I also played local, yes there is a minimal difference, but sometimes I got better feeling with multiplayer as the cloud service had better connection to the game servers than my local provider.

And I will prefer most multiplayer games with my local machine, but it impressed me very much (more than stadia and Xbox cloud)

I understand, but if I create some code that use no wordpress code and only API access and don't ship it with wordpress, they can't enforce a gpl licence for my code.

I used Nvidia GeForce now for some months and must admit that I can't feel a difference most of the time. I tried call of duty warzone and even this was great multiplayer experience. (Game is a mess with GeForce now, can't remember shader cache and must recreate it every GeForce now session)

As cloudflare is the gateway for half the Internet and the other half is meta Google and Microsoft, I would prefer to share my IP with the website I visit instead some big tech companies.

Extremly sarcastic take but - shouldn't the LLMs in 6 year not powerful enough that every user can maintain ChromeOS support themselves?

At least when we get monthly news about how powerful the new models of the openai and anthropic are.

Maybe in 5 years we're all sitting in water tanks producting energy for the ai machine's like in matrix.

Not sure how it's work in japan, but many of these things require a formal criminal complaint in my country and people are not used to disrespectful people.

Replacement is defined in the github repo, in composer you can only define an replacement package, but there is no real replacement, just alternative ways.

Last time I used Sublime text with package control, the plugins created always after updates a new tab with changelog and some with textads.

Pure sublime text is better, but still just a better notepad and no ide.

This is a bug of the application and not of windows.

It's maybe a bad API design, but in the end every app developer can fix it for their apps.
