I have 2 kids in single digit ages (1 under 5). I bought meta gen 2 last month and I cannot describe how many sweet moments I have captured. My kid loves to sing while playing with dolls and stops as soon as I flip my phone out to record.

I ordered a soccer team jersey from UK which cost $100. I had to shell out $75 in tariffs. So yes while what you are saying might apply to businesses, there is a real cost paid by consumers as well.

Another place where auto can be useful is to handle cases where the function signature changes without making changes at the calling site. An explicitly typed var would need changing or worse, can work with some potential hidden bugs due to implicit type conversion.

Sure it might have been unpopular and a silly cause. However that didn't stop the government from invoking the emergencies act and cracking down with impunity. There were even cases of finances being frozen.

Most of the time unless your club is playing, you'd root for a draw in games between top teams for the rivals to drop points. So rooting for a draw is more exciting for a Liverpool fan watching an Arsenal City game for instance.

I don't use my watch for running (using a 7 year old Fitbit versa). However, I do keep it on the entire day unless it is charging. I was curious what the weight of the Time 2 was going to be (I don't see it in the specs). I just wanted to compare the weight of it to my existing device. Thanks!

Anecdata here but I bought a thinkpad T14 in 2022. My colleague bought the same at the same time. We both have identical machines except for me opting for an intel processor and him picking an AMD. My laptop has heating issues and terrible battery life. His lasts an entire day and no heating issues. Forums research shows others in the same timeframe are facing the same issue as me so it is entirely Intel related.

They could even have done slow rollouts. Roll it out to a geographical region and wait an hour or so before deploying elsewhere.

I was seriously considering one last year and the quality control issues threw me off. The fact that you need to go through a long checklist to take delivery of a new car is mentally exhausting (example here: https://teslaprep.glideapp.io/dl/d0a5f4). Not to mention the suspension issues that were making the news (whompy wheels).
