I had GLM-5.3 in OpenCode make this while I drank Guiness 3 through 8. Then I posted it to HN before bed, thinking a couple other people might get a kick out of it.

~250k requests and a brief stint at #1 later, and I'm amazed that my 2 RTX-4060ti's haven't collapsed under the load. The model is an abliterated version of Qwen3.6 35B running on my PC. (qwen3.6-35b-a3b-uncensored-hauhaucs-aggressive)

So anyway, it's just a fun satirical sort of protest directed at the absurdity of it all. No attempts to monetize have been made or will be made. I'm already at 76% of my daily quota for the cloudflare workers, so it won't be around much longer. My budget for this project was the $10 I spent on the domain.

I don't care how good their models get, I won't sign up for one of their plans until they define "X" in their pricing. 5X of this plan, 20X of that plan means nothing when they never tell you what "X" is.

Maybe this model can finally figure it out for them.

There's a small chance this could be signalling a pivot, or at least posturing for a possible future pivot. If they see the mega-datacenter market drying up or slowing down, they may opt for a future in hardware targeted to the individual or smaller teams. In other words, as soon as the VC money for centralized AI dries up, they start selling hardware that doesn't require VC-levels of money to buy.

Serious question: What happens when every consumer phone has this "feature"? If a citizen records someone committing a crime, will that video still be considered admissible in court? Or will the state only regard its own systems as infallible?

1. Personal Computers are personal. Inviting an outside observer into one is no different than inviting one into the bathroom. What I do in there is my business.

2. Friction. This is likely MS's attempt to slow-walk Windows into a subscription service. If nobody resisted, that walk wouldn't be slow.

If you're looking for a backpack, I can't recommend Osprey enough. They are still a independent US company with a lifetime warranty they actually stand by. I had to call their customer service just last week after I ordered the wrong size bag. I was connected to an actual human immediately, and he sent me a prepaid return label, even though it was my fault and I was fully expecting to pay for return shipping myself. I own several of their bags and have never had a single issue with any of them.
