What is there to learn? It uses Git. What you think it feels like, it is not.

Reading about you a bit. Would you say I shouldn't go and try to create the replacement for Streameast?

"This system is about achieving the best possible design with the least amount of effort. There’s no need to know about the psychological impact of colors, which fonts are best for which purpose, golden ratios, etc."
Translation: I don't need to know why I am doing anything but hey, it looks okay to my eye, and I didn't spend a lot of effort on it. Now I have more time to write a blog post about it that mostly advertises my app.

Do you have to walk? I get that power walking exists as a sport. But no way to easily disqualify people from running instead of walking. Plenty of ultras exist though this would be a cool theme.

Hard, in this sense, does not necessarily mean negative or bad. And the safety nets are often illusions (see: insurance, for one example).
There's a balance of course, but I believe most people would benefit from harder lives (in the natural/physical sense). Modern life being more comfortable and easier is actually bullshit. If your life is driving through traffic hours a day to go to a place to sit in front of a computer by yourself to send out messages by chat and email, that is a very hard life. You are forsaking nature and an eon of evolution to satisfy what exactly?

To your point: You could make a fake company with a fake job posting in probably 15 minutes, and use it to easily waste hundreds of hours of time in people's lives.
Edit: Maybe it could be used to start some sort of unemployed software engineer fight club?

"It feels like the current job crisis is artificial and specifically intended to lower people's salary expectations and increase their work output"... bingo.
