Looking through all the methods people are developing and proposing in this thread, there is a story developing where the "clean" machines are pushing humans to devolve into toxic porn-crazed racists with stolen material.

Makes me wish I was a good enough writer to develop this into something. Maybe I can use an LLM to write it...

Best we're getting is probably a stop to the price raises, but no price cuts. Kids will continue to grow up not knowing a $600 flagship GPU or a $1000 gaming PC.

My bank's app recently started warning me that I should "Turn off developer mode" for """security""" on every sign-in. This warning doesn't stop me from using the app yet, but I'm sure it'll get there.

Probably for easy mouse & keyboard support? Also, mini PCs are usually used in offices a lot and I bet most places that buy these things still have lots of USB-A storage devices as well.

18A isn't going to use high NA yet, it's just EUV. Intel is hoping to start using high-NA with their 14A process in 2026. Obviously with their current state that 2026 deadline might get pushed further.

Could've just been "inflation" (read: Opportunity to jack up prices) too. Although if one car company is going to be on the bleeding edge of data collection & sharing it'd probably be Tesla. They're the most Silicon Valley of all.
