The latency is acceptable. I host a remote gaming rig accessed through Parsec, the extra encoding/decoding latency is minimal. Distance has the largest effect, I found that over roughly 1,000 km my total latency is about 30 ms, perfectly playable for all but the most competitive FPS.

Interesting article. Let's now hope for a reasonable price, even though it will be challenging for their team. It would be a shame if the target audience is limited to overpaid nerds like most of HN.

It's a shame only Pixel phones are supported. I have PWM sensitivity and Pixel phones are notoriously bad for this, my eyes hurt when I look at one for more than 30mn. Due to the lack of good, secure alternative, I have had to give up on privacy in exchange for manufacturer updates.

I2P's major drawback when torrenting is speed. Assuming a speed of 500 kbps, it would take 2,000 days to download a 10 TB torrent.

I concur, SMS is DEFINITELY still common in Europe. Removing support for SMS would mean all of family will stop using the app now, this is completely silly and US-centric...

It's definitely a Windows issue. I've had it with non-XPS Dells and completely different brands like Eluktronics.

Our company made the switch from Leaflet to OpenLayers as we were unable to reproject rasters with different CRS to the map's CRS in Leaflet.

Is there any plan to add on-the-fly reprojection within Leaflet core? Is it even the core's job to deal with projection or should this be done by plugins?
