Still working on https://fabric.shivan.dev/ - its a local-first app which lets you review markdown, answer Q&As and review code with your agents. Still working out a few bugs as I use it in my workflow. Also added a CLI.
Not sure if I should be monetising this in anyway - maybe through a cloud sync feature. But it's useful enough for me right now.

I've been working on a web based tool to review markdown and HTML collaboratively with your agents. Wrote about it on my blog. No aspirations to make it more widely available just yet. I'm mostly focusing on getting it right for my day-to-day (making it feel light and easy).
https://shivan.dev/writing/post/markdown-wrangling

My nights and weekends project at the moment is a virtual staging tool for real estate agents.
I'm focusing on the South African market (I know a bunch of agents and I've noticed an increase of very obviously ChatGPT generated images on property listing websites)
My hope is that I can own a nice slice of the listing marketing workflow:
- Creating great, but realistic staging images for listing websites
- Improve property descriptions and copy
There is some early interest from agents, hoping to start marketing properly this week!
https://propertyagentpro.ai/

Hey HN! I am asking out of genuine curiosity, and perhaps doing a little market research.
My team uses https://www.donut.com/ and https://officevibe.com/ but I'm pretty sure we're on the free tier for both.
Do you work in a team that pays monthly for any cool Slack apps or integrations? Which ones? If you're not the one paying, do you find it useful - or annoying?
Cheers!

I tried something similar a while back. It made me feel like I was doing really we;; at prioritising my work, but it's honestly a hard thing to do well and without over-engineering prioritisation.
These days I just have a list of weekly objectives (TODOs), and a daily list of things that I'm "doing". The doing list is based mostly on gut feel about what's important right now, and is in part - based on what my team / the business feels is important right now.
All the things in the weekly objective list are always high priority / important, if it isn't, then it doesn't go on a list.

OP here. I think it serves as a loanword, but I concede that linking to an _English_ dictionary can blur the point I was trying to make. Edited for clarity, thanks!

OP here - I think your interpretation (the former) is pretty spot on. I also think the less charitable interpretation is not _exactly_ wrong. The title and repetition of "Be Less Technical" are definitely not devoid of "click thirst" - but the content is intended to be more in line with "we need to find ways to talk to each other, irrespective of whether we talk to customers or compilers".

+1 on Obsidian
I quite like the categorization on your site.
Do you have a background in tech or are you coming from a different industry?

Obsidian seems to be quite a prevalent solution for personal knowledge base building. (Personally I don't really make use of the 'web of knowledge' feature - it takes some time to do it well for me). How long would you say it takes you to make them into something more useful on average?

Recently I've been really curious how engineers take ad-hoc notes throughout their work days.
Personally I've been using Obsdian.md and creating a new file for each day that I work.
Anyone using a specific tool, or maybe even a physical notebook?
Follow up question is whether you ever reference your notes or go back and look through them again.
