I think you’re misreading. No worship here.
Just pointing out that it’s foolish to think anyone in the position is even remotely thinking about anyone but themselves.

Dude probably sleeps on a bed worth more than your networth.
You have no frame of context to understand his intent or legitimate worries.
The only applicable perspectives are to trust or apply logic. It is foolish to trust someone you don’t know who stands to benefit from lying to you.
Logic dictates that given the ungodly sum of money he stands to gain, he will lie to everyone who will listen.

Only studios that have had a big mouth about using AI are the big ones. Indie studios are eating the industry and most of them are not bullish on AI for replacing the craft, but for optimizing and automating the mundane.
My son is 12, he doesn't care, I've told him how LLMs work, he's used claude, he's not convinced that AI changes things that much and frankly, so am I.
The work was always to build, thoughtfully, carefully, with vision, and ingenuity. That hasn't gone away.

True, make them cheap and fast enough and you can scope and stack agents sufficiently that the error rate tends close enough to zero to be meaningfully useful.

I am deeply envious that you have dodged the slop trenches and get to walk into a somewhat cleaner solution.
The rest of us have to clean up and maintain the slop and it's depressing as hell.

I am legitimately more excited for this release than any frontier models at this point.
I don't need a model that can invent new mathematics. I need something that is fast, cheap, and consistent. Give me that and I can build and scale.
