We bought a pair of Sactional seats used for $1k. And I'm delighted that we did because we hate how uncomfortable it is for us. If you're thinking about dropping 10k+ on a Sactional set, keep your eyes open for used and even consider doing what we did and trialing a smaller section first.

I'm pretty sure I recall hearing that if you cut features that are too thin in Delerin, it gets too hot and catches fire easily. I don't think you were allowed to cut it at the maker space I was at. But it's been like 7 years so I could be fuzzy on that.

Just saw this, I would recommend going the heat pump route.
In retrospect, it's insane to get an electric tankless hot water heater from a climate perspective. Gas tankless makes infinitely more sense if you need limitless hot water. If you don't need limitless, heat pump would be the most emissions efficient.
I'll try to get my usage data together and update this comment.
Edit: Cost of usage electric and gas over the last five years. The big spike last winter was due to our remodel and heating the whole house while it was neither sealed nor insulated in the middle of winter with just the 10kWh furnace backup heater which ran almost non-stop. Units are USD. The two gaps in data are due to meter replacements, I think. https://imgur.com/AVTFwpP
It's kind of hard to compare the data since we re-insulated, went from gas furance to heat pump, and added a hot tub.

We had one (Stiebel Eltron 36KW) installed earlier this year which required a service upgrade to 320A service. AMA, though responses may be delayed a day or two.
Our all-electric home's max instantaneous draw over the last a couple months peaked around 44 kW.

Why's that? For example, wouldn't you describe any rotomolded cooler as a knockoff Yeti? To me, that doesn't seem to comment on the legit vs. counterfeit nature of the cooler, it just anchors the viewer's expectation.
Is there some special protection (in the USA) given to describing something as a "knockoff" versus "similar to"?

I had a pair of white Denon Wireless Earbuds that I tried to sell on Facebook Marketplace, still in shrink and with my own photos. They were kicked off as counterfeit items, presumably because I described them as knockoff Air Pods and that triggered some filter. I wonder if Apple is also coaching classified ad sides with the same trademark messaging they're giving CBP?

Isn't the problem with hydrogen that it's harder to store? I thought it was a big problem. Keeping it from leaking out of storage vessels and pipes because the molecule is so small.

I never figured out how to relate primitives to each other in OpenSCAD so my models were an endless soup of absolute position math. I used SolveSpace for a while and it was brilliant because what took hours in OpenSCAD took just a fraction of the time. And then I picked up the Maker license for Solidworks ($100/yr) and haven't looked back.
I rendered my whole house in Solidworks to plan for a remodel and it was extremely well suited for the job.
