You are confusing the initial construction with the long-term ownership. Most of the time, the corporation that builds the apartment block will sell the apartments, not continue to own them and rent them out.

What are some good examples of technology companies without open-plan offices?

I'm in a battle at work to make the new floor for the engineering department be not (entirely, at least) open-plan. I have all the arguments marshalled, but I am struggling to provide good examples of tech companies that use traditional offices.

What are some strong examples I can offer? Modern startups would be especially useful.
