<p>You are confusing the initial construction with the long-term ownership. Most of the time, the corporation that builds the apartment block will <i>sell</i> the apartments, not continue to own them and rent them out.</p>

<p>What are some good examples of technology companies without open-plan offices?<p>I'm in a battle at work to make the new floor for the engineering department be not (entirely, at least) open-plan. I have all the arguments marshalled, but I am struggling to provide good examples of tech companies that use traditional offices.<p>What are some strong examples I can offer? Modern startups would be especially useful.</p>
