The EU didn't have to do anything. The User Agent can already handle everything from denying cookies to blocking requests for certain resources.

The Internet is fine and the bad parts will heal or remove themselves if we remove the actual bad thing: smart phones. The Internet is not supposed to follow you around hence the term "In Real Life" or "meatspace". If you want to be "terminally online" you need to sit your ass down in front of a computer for hours.

Social media isn't the problem cellphones are. The Yookay isn't gonna ban those because they are useful surveillance devices.

As a child I never liked the AI's strategy to plop cities down right next to each other. I should see if I can understand that as an adult. If I was designing a remake/remaster it wouldn't even have updated graphics just change the AI.

Here is a CPU from 2020 that does not support AVX nor AVX2 https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/199288/... very low budget and probably not common but this is why one might choose not to require AVX2

I need to read docs to make sure the AI isn't inventing ("hallucinating") the API of a library I want to use. It did so I don't ask it anything anymore.
