All the words I don't know are so interesting! It's difficult to banish them. I think of interest will be the log of the journey down to the one word, rather than the one word that remains.

Sincerely I think it's cool to see projects with spurts of efforts from 3 years ago, and then 3 weeks ago. Did the AI wave rekindle your interests?

All the compute being built out is very impressive and it's nice to think it could be used to further science, further our understanding, just in some way for the greater good. But I think mostly it will be used to serve ads.

Interesting idea! Somewhat related - I do wonder sometimes how much time is wasted, tokens used, trees burned, by different people doing the same task of just trying to get something to work.

You need to come up with something novel and compelling, like testing frontier ai model's image generation capabilities with an interesting prompt e.g. 'an octopus on a surfboard'
