<p>I disagree with cheapest. If you factor in twenty years build time and nuclear waste disposal, the whole thing is not economically viable.<p>Then there's a problem with nuclear fuel. The sources are mostly countries you don't want to depend on.<p>You are of course right with your assessment that nuclear is green, safe and eco-friendly. That's a hard one to swallow for a lot of eco activists.</p>

<p>I don't think that it's a contradiction.<p>Too much of any of those is bad. Four year olds are driven by feeling only. Psychopaths are driven by thought only. You don't want the world in the hands of any of those.<p>It's a good mix of both feeling and reason that we should strive for.</p>

<p>I have one running almost all the time. Bought it three years ago and it just works.<p>When I bought it, there was the option to not include a separate Graphics card. Onboard is just fine for me. And that brought down the price considerably.<p>However, they currently don't have that many AMD options for Laptops, so my next one probably won't be System76.<p>PopOS never did it for me. Not once did it survive a system upgrade. So I just switched back to Debian.</p>

<p>I't think, it's not packaging. From RPM to DEB to Snap to flatpack there are lots of options. But support I get. KDE, Gnome or whatever choice of window manager, many different distributions etc., that sounds like support hell.</p>
