Hey there,

My watch-later playlist would always be overflowing. I found myself skipping learning/infotainment videos for more entertaining ones.

But I found myself learning from the newsletters I subscribe to.

So I built snippetify, that delivers the content of youtube video in readable collection of snippets that lets you actually learn!

I found ChatGPT summaries of youtube videos, too concise, and I'd not end up retaining content. And learning/infotainment videos too long.

So I made a free tool that helps you schedule readable snippets from the video that helps you learn much better than summaries.

Hey I'm Ankur, For the past 3mo, I've been building offthreadr.

I realized that async-courses(non-cohort) based courses are also fairly synchronous, cos it'd have these long lessons/lectures extending for hours.

I thought with AI, I can convert the lessons into snippets and send it over the mail, making it like a newsletter. Cos I'm an avid reader of newsletters. This helps us know what's coming, know the key-topics. This also helps avoid going to chat-with-course bot and asking it to summarize.

I'm planning to add more integrations like discord, whatsapp, etc.

When I was an intern, I was supposed to take 5-6 udemy courses. Some lessons were an absolute waste of time.

So I built offthreadr, where courses are AI powered. The snippets of the course is directly sent to your inbox just like a newsletter. This makes learning asynchronous and makes it easy to skip the bs lessons.

Since, its AI powered: you can also chat with course content and get the questions answered in seconds rather than hours while waiting on the udemy QA board.
