Of all the goliaths and titans of industry...Apple....really? Perhaps its a matter of applicable laws/cases...but why not Amazon, Google and Microsoft? They have their tentacles in every direction, I consider that sort of broad-spectrum corporation to be the worst kind. It is not even similar sectors in the case of Amazon (well there are plenty of Google subsidies without the "Google" brand on it) which I find more frightening but hey, I welcome our new corporate overlords!

It's hilarious to me that these practices are laughed off, trivialized through memes and hyper-objectivity (science can't evaluate their value in a practical manner -> "Lulz hippie-dippie nonsense for ditzy/ungrounded women!!!!" -- Western dolt). Its insane considering their benefits...that are of course tragically perfect for those who would never participate
Of course that's a huge generality, I'd say it may be 1 out of 5 people like that in the US, but its the fact that it is not constrained to any particular demographic/background.

Really? On what basis? To be honest, I've been burnt out when it comes to supplements and health max/min type things, so I never dove deep into the Hubermann World.
With that being said, I know he's a (purportedly) prolific Stanford researcher of all healthy living things...nutrition, sleep, supplements and so on. He knows what he is talking about from what I have listened to.
We live in a society...blah blah, make a dollar blah blah. I highly doubt he's going out of his way to get people on things they shouldn't be on or claiming a supp. is something it is not.
But if he is blatantly endorsing garbage/pushing bullocks claims, that'd be beyond highly unethical and astonishing.

You're a puerile dolt. Who is to say we have any rights with regards to the moon? Your foolish attitude is grotesque, you'd just like the biggest and least risk-averse kid do whatever they'd want to do in the sandbox? This just in, they just took a shit in the school's sandbox, have fun rolling around in shit! We'll see who's crying then.
We should treat & act towards the Earth & Moon with great respect and great caution, we were given the right to live by God or the Earth & the Moon. Its time we take a step back and learn we live *with* the land and *because* of the land...I could go on and on but I'd be happily surprised if you take the time to find gratitude for the moon.

As someone who is getting their start with coding, where/what forums exist that have a high quality/helpful community? My biggest struggle has been with relatively simple questions – with a broad stroked theme/issue to 'em for the most part. AKA having a mentor or just a group of coders who are willing to help out if you are willing to be an active member (but I'm relatively useless, aka active maybe in an off-topic lounge part of it). I'd appreciate it if ya got the sauce, a PM if you'd like to keep it on the DL perhaps? Thanks!

You'd be correct, but hey, that doesn't make for a catchy title now, does it?! And apparently "I have a degree in philosophy, but haven't read any of the classic literature on this subject, so I'm almost certainly reinventing the wheel." so this person doesn't exactly strike me as the type to know some of the most influential philosophies of the modern era....

Mmm guessing that I missed the train on this 'un, but in case someone stumbles upon this and is concerned aboot the FX of PFAS, besides water filtration – and I recommend this because it is literally impossible to avoid them unless your dietary sources are locally sourced (and you know they aren't fed/hydrated with PFAS ridden feed/water) – CoQ10 is, thus far, the singular supplement/medicine jawn I know of to aid your body's removal of the endogenous activating particles.
Realizing I should provide some source as I'm no expert. I don't think this is the original paper I stumbled upon, but I imagine it says much of the same...
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/367212337_The_antio...

Agreed! The wisest peeps (I always harp) see AI Art as a functional tool on the metaphorical toolbelt. It doesn't make all the other tools obsolete, it's the tippy top of the pyramid so to speak.
The cherry-on-top to refine things we cannot do, adding an artificial flare to the organic substance, yada, yada, yada.

Stupid, silly me who knows little-to-nothing about the lore of OS. Why can't OS devs simply write out in the OS licensing that their wonderful work is usable by anyone and everybody unless you belong to Alphabet/Meta/Oracle/Adobe/Twitter/Microsoftpen– McCorps & their subsidiaries?
I imagine it comes down to ol' Googly & the boys taking advantage of the OS work -> OS devs backed by weak NFOs sue X corp. -> X corp. manages to delay the courts and carries on litigation so the bill is astronomical aka ain't nobody footing that -> ???
I imagine 90% end up taking some sort of $ and handover the goods like Chromium, though.
So back to square one, guess we kowtow and pray for us prey?
