That's not what people mean by 'bypassing', turning it off is obviously easy. The point is that activating the microphone while the lid is closed is pretty much impossible.

Doing the same on Kagi and DuckDuckGo worked though. Both search engines can filter by time and find articles from the 2021 incident.

Can you search for Ceuta and find some articles from 2021? There was a similar incident to the current one in 2021, but searching for it seems to be impossible for me.

Because of the recent Ceuta incident I wanted to find some old articles, since I remembered a similar incident happened in 2021. I set the range to that year, but nothing happened, only articles from the last week turned up.

Setting a time frame was one of my favorite and most used features of Google Search.

Is it really that hard to believe people don't want to support a state that has brutally occupied half of Europe for 50 years and is right now murdering Ukrainians every day?

Russia is waging a hybrid war against Europe (and the West in general), there's no way I'd give one of their biggest tech companies even a cent.

I wonder when dynamic pricing will switch from booking on phones being more expensive because you're most likely in a hurry to booking on desktop being more expensive because you're old and have more money to spend. Did that already happen?

A hint would be that none of the mentioned munitions, MK-84, BLU-109, and GBU-39, are thermobaric. They're conventional HE or penetrator munitions.

There are probably thousands of scifi books where the moon has some forms of helium 3 mining. Considering Google pirated and used them all for training it makes sense that it puts it in present tense.

Blackrock doesn't 'own' Tesla, or any company really. They hold and manage stocks for their customers. If you own an iShares ETF or mutual fund, you own the companies, not Blackrock.

They also assume that everyone who bought an iPhone bought a charger at full price directly from Apple.

I'd be surprised if even half bought a new charger, most people who needed one probably just got a cheap one from Amazon.

You should take the time to read the SEC Report

"In seeking to answer this question, staff observed that during some discrete periods, GME had sharp price increases concurrently with known major short sellers covering their short positions after incurring significant losses. During these times, short sellers covering their positions likely contributed to increases in GME’s price. For example, staff observed that particularly during the earlier rise from January 22 to 27 the price of GME rose as the short interest decreased. Staff also observed discrete periods of sharp price increases during which accounts held by firms known to the staff to be covering short interest in GME were actively buying large volumes of GME shares, in some cases accounting for very significant portions of the net buying pressure during a period. Figure 6 shows that buy volume in GME, including buy volume from participants identified as having large short positions, increased significantly beginning around January 22 and remained high for several days, corresponding to the beginning of the most dramatic phase of the run-up in GME’s price."

Meaning shorts covering causing a small increase in price and then retail FOMOd in.

See also the graph on the next page that show short interest dropping from over 100% to around 20%.
