I’m not dismissing the concept of masculinity but rather this contemporary pattern of speech that involves terms like “fragile masculinity”. I’ve yet to encounter such a term in clinical psychology literature, but I see it every day on the western internet

Yes I’m sure swinging a chainsaw and talking about memes is Musk trying to prove his masculinity. This “masculinity” is stuff is nothing more than therapy-speak, and I wonder where it originated. Some sort of own-the-right subreddit perhaps.

“The Molecule of More” is a really good science based book on exactly that - drive, reward, and inhibition. I don’t know a better source that explains dopamine-and-friends in a more concise yet palatable way.

Would you recommend any literature?

No I live in Europe. And if I didn’t I wouldn’t worry about it until there’s armed men in uniforms and red armbands walking the streets. I’ve found the best coping mechanism to the overabundance and inflation of information due to the internet, is to simply live within your horizon. I see no musk/trump, I fear no musk/trump. Have a great day, hope your cortisol levels are good.

Clang 18 scores about the same as gcc 14 in runtime performance (with optimisation flags).

So gcc 15 is plentifully faster than clang 18 as well, transitively.

You’re talking about swap? You can allocate a swap partition and register it in the fstab and the kernel as well and happily swap out to it. Unlike windows and mac, you can set the swappiness too to go from conservative to aggressive.
