Cheaper and faster retrieval to be added to the context and discoverable by the agent.
You need more git commands to find the right commit that contains the context you want (either you the human or the LLM burning too many token and time) than just include the right MD file or use grep with proper keywords.
Moreover you could need multiple commits to get the full context, while if you ask the LLM to keep the MD file up to date, you have everything together.

Basically Google is saying: You can't use Gemini with OAuth on other products than Google products (Anti Gravity).
I mean it's fair, just should have been documented properly and the possibility to use Gemini through OAuth restricted with proper scope instead of saying you broke the ToS we ban your 350$/ month account.

Great idea and definitely love the aspec of bringing your own worker.
But technically would it be better to have the plugin to any transformation and then have just cloudflare in front of the website raking care of all caching ? (I thought they even provide a WordPress plugin for that).
Also careful with hosting other people content under your domain/service under your name especially with CSAM stuff and other illegal material that your domain becomes the face of.

Quite an interesting read Basically saying we're in war time economy with a race to super intelligence. Whichever super power does it first has won the game.
Seeing the last tariffs and what China done about the rare earth minerals (and also the deal the US made with Ukraine for said minerals), the article might have a point that the super power will cripple each other to be the first with the super intelligence. And you also need money for it so tariffs.

Exactly, especially when Google can revoke your account or keys at anytime.
Basically this give Google the way to blacklist any app you release now, in or out the play store for the sake of "security".
It's just about control and finally squashing the app that aren't to Google taste.

This is great advice.
In our case, we realized we can't trust our memory anymore, it became hard to remember who done it the most.
We wanted both a system that keeps track of it for us. We want to be sure we can both have activities while still not leaving the other parent on the side and rely on feeling.
In our case we also have recurring events like sport in the evening that happens every week at the same time so this help plan around it and not become unbalanced. We already put everything in the calendar :)

Hello,
So here is the problem I wanted to solve for my wife and myself with our toddler:
- Who does the night routine tonight ?
- How to manage that with evening activities ?
- How to keep it fair ?
So I built a small Go application meant to be selfhosted and fully integrated with Google Calendar.
The app will create day event telling which parent turn is it to do the night routine, you can also configure what days each parent in unavailable. The app will take care of create a schedule that is fair to both parent and avoid unbalanced time.
Also, you can directly go in Google Calendar to override any event created to give it to another parent, the app will then recalculate the folow-up assignment to keep everything fair.
I provide a docker image, docker compose and explanation on how to get your API Keys for Google Console.

I just finished building a Night Routine manager for me and my wife that help us keep alternating who does the toddler night routine. I needed this because we both have evening activities and trying to figure how to block day for it while keeping the routine fair was hard.
https://github.com/Belphemur/night-routine
I wanted to build everything from the ground up in Go and have it fully integrated with Google Calendar where we have our family calendar.
It setup full day event with the name of the parent in charge of the night routine. To override a routine, any of us can just rename the event with the the other parent name and the software recalculate the following routines.
I also wanted to give a try to Roo Code in VS Code it only took me 2 days (evenings) to code the whole thing with a proper sqlite db.

From the article
The Apple TV also supports deep links for other services. Here are examples for the biggest streaming services:

    Netflix (use the regular URL):
        https://www.netflix.com/title/80234304
    Disney+ (use regular URL):
        https://www.disneyplus.com/movies/coco/db9orsI5O4gC
YouTube (use the regular URL with https:// replaced by youtube://)
        Single video: youtube://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ah3ezprtgmc
        Playlist: youtube://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v=FkUn86bH34M&list=PLzvRQMJ9HDiQF_5bEErheiAawrJ-2zQoI&pp=iAQB

The only problem with these services is that they will require you to select a profile before the movie/show will start playing. With Plex, you can enable "auto login", but I haven't tried it for the other services.

I still question why defer doesn't support doing exactly that.
After all it's like the go language provide us with a cleanup function that in 99% of the time shouldn't be used unless we manually wrap what it's calling to properly handle error.
In the end, what's the point of defer ?

(Depends on the airport).

What about installing the right php libs that are expected.
What about keeping the machine up to date to new distro release that inevitably comes with a new version of PHP that isn't compatible with the app ?
Don't get me started on setting properly php-fpm and any other reverse proxy.
All of those issue are gone with docker. You always run the right version of everything as it was intended by the developer (if they are the on that maintain the image)
