Besides like trello asana redmine or the millions of less-complicated competitors? You literally have developers work on their own modules directly from the spec or work directly with the product owner. You track their work by looking at their commits. You check their progress by looking at how the preview build / staging looks. No overhead of having developers flesh out an entire issue/story (plus sub-issues) and then move it column-to-column across the entire Kanban board. Tracking sub-issues is like counting half-pennies instead of rounding up.

The dead comment replying to this said "Start your own company," which I hear a lot. The problem is, the #1 thing YC looks for in a founder is they're wealthy enough to absorb risk. You don't take on massive risk from a position of financial insecurity.

Getting replaced by H1Bs after a year and then being out of work for six months (because ageism), four times in a row--that'll do it! Especially now since H1Bs replacing you makes you look like a job-hopper so your job search becomes more impossible every time.

Coinbase froze everyone's accounts (to prevent a selloff) while cashing in on insider knowledge that they were going to start supporting Bitcoin Cash. Then as soon as they sold off and the market dipped, they unfroze everyone's account. But instead of being in jail, they just keep getting away with it.

tl;dr A wife used medicine to kill her fetus at 9 months, her husband reported a homicide, the wife retaliated trying to get him arrested by claiming he held her at gunpoint. If it's considered homicide in TX, then they're allowed to use ALPR; if it's not homicide, then using ALPR is COMPLETELY POINTLESS because they can't arrest her or charge her with anything.

So essentially the point of the article is to prove that not being able to murder your 9 month-old baby in TX means we're living in a Handmaid's Tale.

Imagine thinking that a statistical model should address individuals' internal state. That's like considering thermodynamics bunk because it addresses aggregate behavior without accounting for that of individual particles.

I "hacked" my way in but seem to be the only drop/hub in the entire server. My feedback:

- The error message that anon users can't create hubs should happen when they click "Create", not after they go through the creation process

- 125 hectares is ridiculously small. Even in densely-populated areas, it takes 2500 hectares encompasses a neighborhood

- The chat window doesn't maximize, it's just a sidebar, and there's no emojis or GIFs or image embeds or links or markdown/richtext support or ability to edit/delete messages

- It would be cool if there was a bottom bar with a "global chat" / event log where you see people creating new hubs/drops
