Damn, beating Kimi k3 is crazy. It produces already a ton of tokens.

But I think the next step will be even more thinking on smaller models. Maybe fine-tuned and we get really crazy stuff

Of course, all the latest gains in the latest models are from "thinking" and testing every piece they did.

That's at least my impression. Models didn't get get better, just more thinking and testing and sometimes fixing things you didn't ask for ( hello opus, can you check xxx, opus: I fixed it..)

Next step is a model with 10 GB thinking for ten minutes.

Why would they need to selfhost? They can run it via API ala openrouter or runware or whatever.

Or on runpod with rented gpus or inference.

I used fable to design a front-end, and damn! It's good! Frontend coding is dead. Design in a way also.

And it was damn cheap too! The main page cost was like 5 dollar.

Yes, nothing will be as fast as the Nvidia implementation.

Those implementations don't have access to the low level encoding Nvidia has.

There is a rumour, that they did this because of GeForce now, because there never will an open source implementation/ service competition for GeForce now.

I was looking at buying hardware for me and as testing ground to learn. With those prices I just nipped out and will just rent in demand at runpod or so.

Wasn't there just a study, that many fat kids are fat because of fruit juices?

Healthy in a way, but surprisingly a lot of sugar ( either added or from the fruits)

Same experience with web search / research, it was bad compared to opus.

Missed half the stuff the other half was outdated/ didn't verify.
