This sounds like some variation of correlation // causation. The people that already like working with (or are addicted to) LLMs would look to try the frontier models on their own time.

> For me this would create more clutter and require more of my attention to ensure the devices work the way I want them to and that I have them on hand. Yes my MP3 player doesn't show notifications but its another device I need to keep with me and keep charged. Buying a device for the sake of it unless I have a real need just feels like consumerism.
I was skeptical until I kidnapped my wife's kindle and started reading on that instead of my phone. I recently added an mp3 player too and there really is something about the intentionality of a dedicated device that make it more enjoyable and more focused than using my phone for everything.
But to your point, there is definitely a lot of performative/consumerism basis - if you visit the Emulator subreddit for example there's an increasingly common joke that nobody ever uses their device, just buys the new one to collect it/post it online for internet points.

For some reason I never considered this route, despite following the PS5 Linux developments... is there a specific reason that the XSX is harder to homebrew than the PS5?
It would be incredible to convert my dusty XSX to a linux box

I feel like these 2 sentences answer what the author is looking for:
> I do not want an LLM-generated novel with chapters, bullet points and emojis, just a simple description of the problem in your own voice.
> If I don't see proof of human involvement, then I'm not interested

I was really excited when I saw tabs were coming to the file explorer, but I can't tell now if I don't like tabs in file explorer or if I don't like all the other things that made file explorer worse when tabs got added

Why should I trust someone that's making money from AI to tell me that AI isn't a bubble?
Especially when the entire argument seems to hinge on the author's dislike for the word Bubble. The bubble that pops isn't the actual thing, it's the money that was propping the thing up...

Try Pico-8 - The low pixel approach makes it so that those of us with lower artistic abilities don't have to focus on the art since everything is pixelated as the baseline. (Not to say that people aren't doing insane art with it anyways, but the baseline is much lower quality than something like Unreal).
