We started using Polytomic for only reverse ETL, but are now working to move our ETL processes to it as well.

They've been really great to work with and they've been able to handle our data as we've scaled at Vercel.

They have the highest top speed. It was that way in Mario Kart 64 as well. They have the worst acceleration though.

I think this is a pretty incredible move. I went through Lambda's full-stack program part-time, but I would definitely say it leans more front-end heavy. This will be great for those that really want to focus on the back-end development.

There are competitors.

https://n8n.io/ is the open source version https://tray.io/ is more of an enterprise version, and better for people that are more technical https://www.integromat.com/ is considered the cheaper alternative

Using Stadia with my Chromecast wired to ethernet has been pretty incredible. Very rarely have I felt like I had a degraded gaming experience.

Unfortunately you can't deduct the payments. There is some potential legislation around that, but it hasn't been pushed through yet.

At Lambda School, the ISA does expire after 5 years of not meeting the income threshold.

They sell to enterprises. They have customers like BMW, Southwest, etc. They get MBAs to learn to use them in school, then when they have to use a product when they get a job at a fortune 500, they go with Qualtrics since they know how to use it. That's how they got a lot of market penetration.

I previously worked at GitLab, and I can confirm this is the point that I find most commenters on HN miss. GitLab's web platform, at the moment, is essentially a marketing expense to get people to use GitLab and push it into their day jobs.

I've had nothing but bad experiences with TaskEasy personally, so I'm not surprised that unsubscribing from their emails was such a poor experience.
