It really does not work like that, you start mixing everything and everyone up in a depressing blob after a while.
I can't even remember the names of people i thought I loved or at least cared about.
Compared with my last five years in a serious, committed relationship, its a night and day difference.
To the next five years, and the ten after that hopefully.

Sounds like you have no idea how dangerous is to put your hands around electric car batteries and how expensive certified electricians are. Without a mechanic that ALSO has an advanced expert certification for high voltage electronics, the blown BMS or contactor (500$) becomes a whole battery to scrap (20k). Then you add the 6 hours of diagnostics and labor on top of it.
Electric vehicles are not an arduino circuit with a couple of led and an usb cable.

In my opinion happiness is not a goal but a state subject to change. I stopped looking for happiness and started to train contentness. Being satisfied with something less than optimal will make you feel much better over time. Sometimes things will go sideways independently of your control. You can be all stoic about that and pretend it doesn't faze you; in my experience it's better to find and focus on the little things that make life more bearable, like preparing a hot meal after a shitty day instead of crashing on the sofa and conteplate the injustice of life.

I think there might be some communalities with system engineering, where you subtract the output from the input in order to get a control signal that steers the plant to the target values. I too fail to see how that would be supposed to work in practice.

I only heard this from a south African, so consider this hearsay, but prices of energy from private providers is not only cheaper, but the energy is actually available and not subjected to constant blackouts. Problem is, the governments since Mandela have used the state energy provider as a cash cow and are actively hampering any kind of modernization and/or private alternatives.
Case in point: https://www.climatechangenews.com/2023/01/11/eskom-poisoning...

I bought a 100€ used MTB almost ten years ago, still ride it weekly, and the only major work i did on it was swapping tires from tasseled to road ones. Still, I can smoke people riding ebikes since they are locked under 25km/h in italy.
Spending thousands on a bike is understandable if you are really into it but not necessary at all
