Along the same lines, you are buying a place. A place that you own and can do whatever you like with. I spent twenty years renting and twenty years of feeling like you can’t hang a picture on the wall, paint a room, upgrade an appliance, or really do anything to improve your surroundings, tends to get tiring.

A standard home brewing batch is 5 gallons. Or 40 pints.
While it is a crazy world and I don’t want to say no one has ever done what you described, it would be an outlier to say the least.
Home brewed beer is generally bottled or put into a keg and tapped.
(Almost) no one is just drinking warm uncarbonated beer from the fermenter.

Bit of an aside but I found it somewhat amusing that one example the author uses of Jim’s financial recklessness was getting into home brewing.
Home brewing is one of the cheaper hobbies available (though like all hobbies you can spend as much as you want). The only real requirements are a bucket and a pot.

If you care about privacy at all, you can route your Opencode requests through an inference provider that does not retain any logs or data. It is also much cheaper. So if your boxes include `Privacy` and `Affordability`, then no, they don't tick the same boxes.

I agree, broadly, with your statement. I am removing my entire front yard to xeriscape. I compost and am otherwise environmentally active and conscious.
That said, plenty of people _do_ actually use their lawns, especially those of us with children. My actual grass lawn is surrounded by native and low water use plants, but my small patch of green (around 2k sqft), will stay green until my kids move out.
I think it's much more useful to target the endless industrial and commercial parks that have far more grass than a normal size neighborhood. Let people have some joy in their lives.

Typically two sentences directly following one another are related. You are missing a paragraph to separate your completely unrelated thoughts. The person you are replying to has a normal way of passing information. You need to work on how you present your information.
