These publications aren't exactly known for their level-headed, unbiased journalism. What a shame that we're poisoning the well and allowing old media to maintain a stranglehold on crafting their own narrative.

Title is misleading. This article is about the NHTSA investigating the efficacy of Tesla's recall last year. There is no mention of "hundreds of crashes"

I always considered Windows 2000 to have that honor. Had the licensing been there, it could have gone mainstream. Much better alternative than Windows ME.

Emotions are a neurological response to stimuli. Artificial emotions from an Artificial Intelligence do not seem that steep a hill to climb. Analyzing this any further we would need a more fundamental understanding of emotions we don't yet have.

I think this is the failure of the project leaders to incorporate usability into the discussion from the outset. It takes a strong will to sit there and say "We can build you what you want, but without at least one pass on usability and optimization, it's going to be fat, slow, and the end users are going to hate it."

This is the most mind-blowing aspect of this. Kids away at college use their parents' accounts for entertainment. Those kids graduate, then get their own accounts.

Netflix is shooting themselves in the foot. These kids will just adopt content from other providers.
