Yes, because the point of the article is that these are things rational every-day people recognize as being worthy of mockery.

If the author needs to explain to you why not knowing your own address is foolish, how handing your child an AI instead of spending time with them is bad, then you aren't going to get the rest of the thesis. As the author puts it, you've passed the test, you're part of the cult of personality.

Sadly the problem predated him, the FAA has been under funded for a long time. Last Week Tonight did a really good segment about it a year ago. However, Trump absolutely made it a lot worse.

Additional Context: for about two years functional programming was REALLY popular in the Node community. It was a fad to chain tons of tiny functions together, and thus lots of people wrote tons of tiny functions. This is why lodash/fp exists.

Before I even opened the article I knew the reason was because LLMs don't need abstractions. React Native was always about making app construction easier for people who don't want to learn ObjC or Swift. If you're not writing or even reviewing the code yourself, this is unneeded overhead.

For a while I've been wondering why people are even bothering with high level languages if you aren't even gonna read the code.
