Sure but for a casual conversational use case I have not found speed to be a huge barrier. I chatted with a 100b model using ddr5 only on a plane recently and it was fine. It's mainly that I cannot do data classification and coding tasks in a timely manner.

I don't know that I have ever understood a reason to leave the native terminal included with any given OS, particularly after the Windows modernization pass in recent years on the terminal.

I use a subdomain because I like it, and my goals are not aligned with the assumed goals of the article.

I use both but I find even the way the model writes in codex to be harder to read. The usage limits in Codex were very generous the past year until this week.

Yes I think this site is not unique, I personally have at least 2 websites I have not shared anywhere with at least all of this information, that I am developing for my local community or just for myself. Its a subject worth discussing but I am also skeptical of the value of this link. I think maybe what is most worth considering is, "does this have value over deflock?" is it more accessible? Less overwhelming? I am not sure but I think that conversation would not be a great use of time in this particular space.

The model developers across the board stand by that most/all models are profitable by EOL, and losses come from R&D/Training.

I have had credits on open router that haven’t been deleted since near the projects launch, I believe 365 days is not a rule but rather a right reserved.

When I use the tool ccusage it says I use $600 of usage a month for my $100. I don’t know that this is a good value proposition for me if I want to stay with the same model, half the reason I use Claude code, personally.
