try networking with people online. go as far as writing vcs and asking them for business ideas. every shot you dont take is wasted.

It's a nice starting point. There are other options such as used Flanders Scientific or Sony Studio Screens. But those are usually rather expensive. I would recommend to buy them on Ebay if anything.

OPs argument is flawed. Documentation is not there to teach you from scratch. Its there to describe a projects intended behaviour under normal conditions. Often times people will cry about lacking context and expect you to basically use it for them. I would heavily recommend against that as you will end up as unpayed and burned out tech support...

Hi, I made a thing. Got tired half way so a bit of vibe coding bs is included. It works, Outlook bitches a bit, Thunderbird, IOS and Android Mail apps dont. I'll OpenSource when I am sure its not complete trash. Play with it if you like, just dont DDOS it.

Well, the incompetent will find a way to make it work. Since management usually only cares about that, it will be fine. The competent who dont give a damn will basically result to vibe coding and receive similar results. Just with lower cost.

Didn't really have good managers so far. Reading this makes me question my choices. Maybe it's time to move on. On the other hand, this is a cluster of greatness and for every 15 good comments there's a thousand bad stories.

So let me ask this instead: How would you go about finding a job with a good manager? And whats the reason behind it?

It makes concepts accessible without a proper foundation. It can be dangerous if done with critical components. But StackOverflow did exist before too.. So it's not entirely new to our industry. It certainly makes it easier to be stupid.

Hey, I just always feel so drained when dealing with bullies in cooperate. They always use the same boring attacks, I always counter them the same way... I win, they loose. Why does cooperate feel like a cheap RPG?

Well, as strange as it sounds: GitHub, Element. IRC and 4chan. Yes, there is a lot of harassment and trolling in those spaces. However, they are inhabited by quite skilled devs. Think of it as a powerfull witch living in a swamp... Refrain from Discords, they are usually doubble the drama with half the iq points... Same goes for Reddit...
