I would think that if you say you are French, then everyone know you aren't native anyway. Maybe it's actually a good way, it can distinguish between true natives and false natives

France'a Gendarmerie (one of two branch of law-enforcement) has switched to linux for more than a decade. There is little reason to think they are bluffing. Furthermore, the groundwork has been laid for months, with forks being worked on.

I understand your take generally, but here I don't understand the skepticism.

(2) Do you mean not yet charged or not yet convicted ?

Because I can get you would want to shield some people from persecutions (just or unjust) from your successor, but I see no reason why you would be able to pardon someone charged but waiting for trial. This makes a mockery of justice, the public can't discover the facts but more importantly: why pardon someone that is still considered innocent ?

Exactly, this is so flawed. Anthropic themselves said they only reported <1% of the vulnerabilities found, cause the rest is unpatched.

Give open models an environment (prior to Feb 15- so no Mythos-discovered vulns are patche) of Linux and see how many vulnerabilities it can find. Then put it in a sandbox and see if it can escape and send you an e-mail.

Interesting indeed. The story doesn't seem to be radically different on TikTok. It goes up to 15K views, that's still 3 times less than X.

Seems clear while their reach has decreased over time, it's still the highest on X.

I do agree with the decision, but declining reach is not the primary reason, it is merely what got them over the line.

I agree. What people forget is Snowden didn't intend to end up in Russia. He wanted to go from Hong Kong (where he tought he would be safe, but realised extradition still was an option) to Ecuador. But he feared US would intercept his plane if he went over US/US allies sky. So his plan was to go from HK to Russia, then to Cuba and finally Ecuador.

Russia stopped him because US had cancelled his passport.

I use models with OpenRouter, and only have this models with OpenAI models. That's why I don't use them.

I tested Gemini 3 Flash (no visible reasoning trace). It gave me a choice matrix. Said that unless it was getting soap and a sponge, I should drive.

Kimi 2.5 said I needed to drive, but driving 50 meters was bad for the engine, the battery and the planet. it then recommended me to push the car, if safe.

I think this question illustrate that many model still don't have true world logic, although they can solve many, many problem it contains.

Also interestingly, the two models I tested didn't consider EVs.

I really hope the next iPhone with Satellite connectivity not limited to SOS will help for that.

At the same time, I can see Apple caving to Iran governement - or China's - and restrict this feature to countries where it is legal.

For me on IronFox it showed an empty URL bar but loaded after what felt like 5 seconds.

That's why Bitcoin isn't anonymous. Use Monero XMR instead. Much more private. Transactions can't be tracked. (Some very advanced techniques might, but they are in the process of fixing it. Unlike BTC, they do care)

Awesome. Can't wait to try and ask it to predict the 20th century based on said events. Model size is small, which is great as I can run it anywhere, but at the same time reasoning might not be great.

GPT4 can't read non-latin languages (OpenAI admits it) such as Persian, or Chinese. It will halucinate meaning. Gemini Ultra nails it.

This will greatly reduce Github ability to be an App Store. Reminder that GitHub isn't banned* or censored by Microsoft in China, so it's a good way to download VPNs and other banned apps.

*There is some frequent outages on an individual level, but if you try enough, it works.

Proton has had a freemium model since 2016 and take no VC money. The key seem to be a free plan that is cheap to operate and has some features limitation to push subscriptions. Free plan has at most 1GB of drive including mails. And has Limited number of calendars, alliasses and mail tags.

Proton paid plan is around 10$ a month so it isn't cheap. But cheap isn't sustainable.

Brave Search usually put Reddit Posts on top. Furthermore the Reddit post answer are now visible right in the search engine, so no need for the Reddit tracking. The only issue is you can only see OP title Post and answers, but not OP full question.
