Why would it be on the payment processor at all to determine if something is legal or not? I think that is a massive issue on it's own as I don't want Visa/MC deciding whether they think what I'm doing with my money is legal, that's for a legal system to do, not a private company.

Such as what? I found it a very fair deal, you can have functionality for your area for free, which will likely be good enough for 70%+ of people, but if you want larger regions you have to pay. It seems to me a totally fair and transparent pricing structure, without resorting to filling the app with ads.

The people who need the paid portion of the app are also likely enthusiasts, and in that light the pricing seems fair too.

I do wonder what will become of the channels they invest in, there seems to be a lot of high quality ones. For example they invested in the Mentour Pilot channel, and I wouldn't say the quality has dipped since, if anything it seems like they have access to more money but the quality and feel of the videos is very similar, hopefully it stays this way.

About the OEM, are you working on having devices ship with GrapheneOS, or devices be GOS compatible (i.e. same as the Pixels)? If you're thinking of devices shipping with it, would this fix the issue of Play Integrity/SafetyNet failing? That's the main reason I am running the android on my phone, as my banks don't work with Play Integrity failing and I have to use the app for 3DS. The ability to run GOS without this issue would be huge.

On the other hand take something like Brexit, that went into effect well after the referendum on it. There are a significant amount of people who would have opposed/supported it who were 18 when it went into effect but not when it was voted on.

Who defines an artistic work? If I produce a porn film, why isn't that my artistic commentary on sex? Laws cant be this subjective because subjectivity implies subjectivity in ruling which is objectively awful.

I am never providing my ID to anyone who can store it indefinitely. I am an adult and have no problem showing it in a shop if required as it isn't stored. Unless it can be proven it wont be stored (i.e. the bytes are never sent from my laptop) I will not provide it.

This is relevant though towards the argument that Vegas isn't typical in it's water consumption and trees may well have a much more detrimental effect than in other places.

To be fair there is a massive difference between separated bike lanes, which do achieve this, and just a painted line on the ground so the government could say they put a bike line in. Significant amounts in a lot of places are the latter.

To be fair that's with 20 years of inflation (roughly 1.55x since 2004, €18,600 today), and that car today would have 90+bhp. I'm ignoring things like head unit/ac because they're things you'd probably rather not have and not pay for by the sounds of it.

I'm assuming they're talking about spectre/meltdown which have mitigations slowing down performance, but the hardware is vulnerable without those mitigations

Paracetamol can be referred to as an antipyretic (fever reducing drug), and it's widely used for that in the same way ibuprofen is used as an anti inflammatory.

Balatro uses 64 bit floats for numbers. This does matter as the game effectively has a hard ending at NaN when you overflow the floating point max. This will occur at a significantly lower value if you switched to 32 bit floats, therefore making the highest possible ante lower.
