I own a 3d printer, and I print things from time to time. My old box fan was missing the speed knob, so I figured how hard would it be to make another one of these guys? So I searched on Maker World, confident I would find one that was Close Enough™. I did not. So I tried my hand at CAD, and it turns out I suck at CAD. But, I don't suck at software, so I made this app.
Figure equips an LLM agent with extensive OpenSCAD knowledge and allows a user to chat about the model, and adjust parameters. It worked out well for me, but I cam curious if others find it useful. It's a free beta for Apple Silicon machines now (ARM64), and I'm planning on adding support for Linux and Windows soon. Thanks for looking!

This is similar to something I was playing around with last month-- basically just a CLI for accessing the foundational models.
https://github.com/ehamiter/afm
It's really handy for quick things like "what's the capital of country x" but for coding, I feel that it is severely limited. With such a small context it's (currently) not great for complicated things.

I love running to music but most songs are always just slightly too slow or too fast. Finding one that matches your exact cadence always feels awesome, and I thought-- there should be an app for that. So this is an attempt to make that happen for any song you have. Still ironing out some kinks here and there, but seems to work pretty well. TestFlight build available if you want to give it a shot.

This is appealing to me as a Python backend dev-- but if I end up building something cool for my own personal use, and I want to deploy it so others can use it-- is that a thing for this? I don't see any kind of documentation for deploying it, but that could just be on me. I realize this is touted as a demo-friendly / internal tool so that just might not be aligned for this type of thing.

I was inspired by the e-ink AI Calendar project Kuvastin (https://github.com/Iletee/kuvastin) and thought the idea of having Chat-GPT come up with a prompt for DALL-E based on calendar entries was awesome.
I took that concept and added in top news headlines, holidays, silly days, and my tabby cat Hobbes. The results are always interesting and sometimes quite beautiful. Other times, it's zany and equally amusing. It's set up to generate new pics at 6am CST every morning so there's a fun new treat to wake up to.
There are two pics generated: one in landscape mode and one in portrait. On mobile, you can flip your phone sideways and see the other; on desktop, you can shrink your screen width of use Chrome's devtools to enable responsive mode. Hitting "?" or double tapping will toggle the prompt. Swiping left and right / hitting the left and right arrow keys takes you to previous and future days.
This is purely for fun and not for the money makings. It's open source with an MIT license so feel free to clone it and experiment!
Github source here:
