I worked on at both companies on drivers. The programming models are quite different. Both make GPUs but they were designed by different groups of people who made different decisions. For example:

Nvidia cards are much easier to program in the user mode driver. You cannot hang a Nvidia GPU with a bad memory access. You can hang the display engine with one though. At least when I was there.

You can hang an AMD GPU with a bad memory access. At least up to the Navi 3x.

Having worked at both Nvidia and AMD I can assure you that they both feature lots of generated header files.

It is the government's job to make sure we have fair contracts to protect consumers right? Contacts are not always enforceable.

Land is a limited resource. We are not making any more of it. Sometimes just looking farther away is an option but often times it isn't.

HOA's being required on certain properties is bonkers to me. It feels like extortion. Either agree to these onerous terms or get nothing.

It is really hard to avoid them. I think the only solution is a federal law allowing you to opt out of any HOAs.

I don't see Nebula as a competitor to YouTube. They're both streaming platforms and have some of same content.

Nebula isn't free. Only invited creators are on there. Seems like they're clearly focusing on a niche.

I also had issues with Nebula at first. It's been steadily getting better. When did you try it?

I think now it probably performs more reliably than Youtube + Firefox on my Android.

Are any of the options mature enough to be a daily driver yet? It's been a while but I was not successful with switching to the pinephone when I first got it. The librem5 was still having battery issues last time I checked as well.

Worse they require frequent logins on device to keep the with client working. Just making the account on device isn't enough. You have to maintain it as well.
