>Guess they don't care about regular devs atm and are focused only on hardware sales.
Why would they want to target regular devs right now? If they sold to regular devs instead of enterprises, the complaint wouldn't be about model choice, it'd be about how expensive it.

This is great news! I think people forget how anti-skin cancer protocols even as simple as applying suntan lotion weren't as popular as recent as 50-60 years ago. Lots of "sun children" of the 50s and 60s are now feeling the repercussions of only applying baby oil and are getting hit with lots of melanoma.

Good to know! If I could make one suggestion, it'd be great to have an example or two in the press release where you have a prompt, and show what the newest model and the prior model made. This would make it super easy to compare the differences between said models.

>Grok 4.6 produces stronger first passes on visual and interactive projects than we typically saw with Grok 4.5. Given a concrete product idea, it is able to establish structure and visual language for an application in one pass.
As a designer, I'm always hesitant to believe these statements until there's independent comparisons between the old & new model, as well as comparisons to human made flows. Design can be so subjective that blanket statements like this seem almost useless.

>The right wing in the US has spent a lot of money and time co-opting the flag as a signal.
So the right wing overuses flag imagery, and as a result the left starts to view the flag as problematic? That's a Democrat/liberal problem.
>To not realize this to me means you either haven't been paying attention, or very much live in a bubble.
I pay attention and don't live in a bubble, and I still think it's absolutely absurd to let the overuse of your countries flag by a specific political group dictate how you feel about seeing said flag.

>These days it's much weirder to see an American flag, and usually you know it has something to do with MAGAs. The weird thing to me is how you see one massive one in the luggage retrieval area when you arrive in JFK (in New York). Always makes me sigh
This has to be a troll post. Associating the US flag with MAGA? Sighing because a major international airport has a large flag hanging over the baggage area? Come on.

>There's no world in which they will vibecode a solution.
It's not like the Bank of Americas of the world are going to get an Anthropic or OpenAI API key, and then use the prompt "move this off of COBOL please". They'll either hire a contractor who'll work out how to best utilize AI to migrate the existing codebase off of mainframes, or spin up an internal team to do the same thing.
