One thing I like to do on Spotify is to make a "Blend" playlist with a friend whose music taste overlaps with mine slightly. Not for its intended use of creating a playlist for you both to listen to at the same time, but instead I find it's useful at pulling your recommendations out of the safe zone (and towards the taste of your friend). Sounds a little bit dystopian that I'm cutting my friends out of the friend-recommendation part of music discovery, but if I find a new artist I like I usually make sure to mention it to the friend.

I always struggled with Apex Legends on Linux. It didn't pre-load shaders, which led to a very jittery experience for the first round or two. Even after that you still get jitters here and there when it needs to load something new. It wasn't worth doing every time there was a new update.

I prefer that feature massively. Being on hold sucks, you can't fully commit to doing another task because you need to listen out for the fuzzy elevator music to switch to a human voice. Even worse when the fuzzy music switches to a recorded human voice every 30 seconds to remind you you're still on hold.
Having a call back means I can forget about it and go on with my day until they call me.

I notice every time somebody gets a new phone because it says "Your safety number with x has changed" but whenever I've spoken about it with friends, they have no idea what it means. An additional sentence could help here, such as "You might want to double check that you're really talking to x" or the classic "It's possible someone is doing something nasty". Although I understand that this would definitely scare a lot of people, maybe even push them into thinking Signal is insecure.

I too hate the DJ. Not sure why they're trying to push it, the existing system of "daily mix" and "discover weekly" playlists work well in my opinion.

I found it bizarre that "weather-independence" was one of the least important metrics. I commuted by bike for years and it's miserable in wind and rain. The numbers of fellow cyclists varied massively depending on the weather.

I suppose the argument wouldn't be about how their revenue is distributed, rather that they should be charging more for their subscription (which is, in my opinion, insanely cheap). They're able to keep it that cheap because they're underpaying artists.
