Looking at the threads below, very few people are discussing technical things in dns terms like zone or nameserver.
Yeah. The way how most things on the internet prove ownership make the assumption that the 3ld is owned by the 2ld. Extend it once out for country specific ones and you cover most cases that people have to work with.
Then when you consider DNS is fundamental infrastructure and people build secure things on top of it, (ahem DNS challenges for certs), it's remarkable that anyone would want or desire edge cases.

Bernie’s Sanders is very easy to attack because of how fast he folded to the DNC in the past decade.
Even for the Trump "bull in the china shop" voter, Sanders has become less relevant in 2020 and 2024 because he offers so little and for someone so called principled, he doesn’t hold the same ideas on immigration that he has before.

I just _refreshed_ my setup replacing my shield and trying to get Emby and Kodi working together…
This looks great especially since I have complete collections of various sci if stuff I loved growing up (Star Trek: TNG, Star Gate). The big thing for me is how this supports sitting on the couch and looking for something to watch.

It's a positive vision of where society can go rather than having to sacrifice and buckle down.
Do people not remember riding bikes as kids? Riding a bike is _still_ fun. It never stopped being fun. Now you can do that and get to work.

I agree with all of your points. I am kind of shocked that I had to scroll so far down to see point #3 on this thread at all.
CSS doesn't give the best toolset in order to do styling and organize styling. The locality of HTML structure and styling makes things far easier to work with.
I would also throw in that front end coding feels far more fickle and arbitrary. Tailwind allows me to define a set of rules and then apply them directly. It ends up being more maintainable when used in conjunction with component abstractions.

You can use normal CSS and use @apply if that was necessary.

It's probably the most dystopian and I'm very glad I didn't have to scroll to the bottom before someone said otherwise.
The logical end of this thinking is that people who would otherwise be perfectly capable of raising children would put them up for adoption because they would want the best outcome for their kids.
It's like Black Mirror episodes write themselves.

Is there something more inherent that makes an electric unicycles more dangerous, other than they make them go ridiculous speeds?
I would have thought the larger wheel on an EUC made it more stable and the higher power makes it not have to nosedive. I kind of prefer e-bikes because they are well… normal.

God… the most close calls I’ve seen have always been with rental e-scooters. Both of them blew past a red light, which btw, I was stopped at on my e-scooter. He nearly got hit by a SUV if the driver didn’t stop.
I think there’s some expectation for bikes to go with traffic, rental scooter riders think they’re some kind of unicorn where right of way no longer applies.
And I am assuming they are rental scooters because of the styling and lack of helmet.

The DC metro is ridiculous. I'm cynical enough to think that the only way the Silver Line would have been done faster would have been to shutdown DCA so politicians would be forced to use Dulles. Even then they would probably just have drivers.
IIRC, there are issues with the concrete used on the new platforms too.
