The id tech 8 engine is a whole lot more performant than the unreal 5 engine and absolutely does what it needs to, fantastically, I would add for the game it was made for.

By the way, the AMD athlon 64-bit launched 2003. The PS3 launched in 2006. I had an AMD64 bit process in my laptop in 2005.

My job entails me writing mostly Coldfusion all day long. I write new code in Coldfusion script. Its syntax heavily inspired by javascript, right down to the optional terminating semicolon. I still have to support a fair bit of code written in Coldfusion tag syntax. That I dislike especially given the code base was written by amateur developers and just makes me feel like bad php from 2003.

Here's what's interesting.The Maple bus and the Dreamcast supported a second analog stick, They just never added it to the controller.

The Saturn is also my favorite. Is it bad that I think depends a dragoon saga kind of overeated? Zwei is my favorite. The music in one was awesome I thought though

The Dual Shock 5(wired) and Dual Shock 4(wireless) were some of the best controller where it comes to latency. https://rpubs.com/misteraddons/inputlatency

Say way? Crazy Taxi? The Dreamcast had an amazing library! Sonic Adventures Shenmue(1,2), Grandia 2, Skies of Arcadia, Virtua Tennis, Entire 2k sports series, Samba de Amigo, House of the dead, Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive 2, Jet Grind Radio, Test Drive LeMans, F355 Challenge, Rez, ...the list goes one

The weird yet cool games Roommania, Segaga, Seaman

Of course many of these games got ported over later on the other consoles or had sequels release on system after the Dreamcast's demise

Don't modern TV's come with a game mode to reduce this latency (turns off any kinds of image processing)?

Grenada is here because the US asked to install radars here for their Venezuelan operation("drug boat interception") and Grenada declined. They also raised the The Level 2 advisory for US citizen.

Somewhat related yet not. I had a Dell laptop near kill itself waking up while in my backpack and near melting itself. I think I blame Windows update for this though. This resulted in the laptop not being able to power on most of the times after that.

When I was 12 years old I got run off the road while riding my BMX bicycle when a car pulled into my lane to park on my side of the street. I was going about 12-20 mph and could not stop since I only had rear brakes. I just locked the rear tire and the bike continued sliding on the dust covered road side.

I went over a platform and into a small garage pit used for burning trash. After I stopped rolling, I dusted myself off and thought, "well, that could have been worse". Then came a man running towards me, grabs my elbow and pulls the head of a broken bottle out of it. Blood started spraying everywhere of course.

After one of my friends that was riding with me used his shirt as a tourniquet, the man flagged down a (private) mini bus(that provides public transportation), to me to the hospital, stayed with me then, paid my bus fare and then took me back home to my neighbourhood.

I never saw the man again even though he probably lived in the neighbourhood next to mine.

Recently in NYC, I was offloading my car when a girl with a box of croissants and cookies came up to me as asked if I wanted a croissant. She that she mistakenly bought more than she could eat. I looked at her as if she fell from space for a second and she noticed. She then said she bought the from a nearby bakery and they were perfectly fine as she continued eating one herself. I hesitantly took one, which was still warm and bite into it. It was great and I told her girl so and thanked her.

I went inside with my croissant in hand and told my wife what had happened. I got the scolding of my life for eating food from a stranger. I had to throw the rest of the crossiant away of course. That sucked because that one bite was so good.
