A better question is "why would AI vendors sell AI access when they can hire four of those associates to start a law firm, give them 5% so they have some compensation, and then cut off all the big name firms from AI".

It will overweight SpaceX less than the old rule which was binary and weighed at 100% as soon as the float passed 10%. Which based on rolling lockout periods will probably be in the fall.

SpaceX is responded to the float issues by having a continuous increase in the unlocked stock available on the market. And NASDAQ was the first index to promise a quick inclusion of spacex.

According to SpaceX's own documentation more than 80% of their value comes from xAI and their data centers. Starlink is where they are making the money, but they are pouring it into AI.

Probably, but the nice thing about polynomials is the secret is the value when x is 0. What is the point on the hyper geometry where I look up the secret?

It went the other way, you can't use other harnesses to connect to the cheaper versions of Claude. So clearly they think their current moat is Claude Code use, not the LLM itself.

How much do you trust OpenAi or Anthropic to not use it as training data anyway? What if you are building a startup and they can just use their visibility into it to copy your IP instead of buying your company?

The other advantage of the local GPU is that you are not feeding your data into cloud providers. I'm not sure how much you can really trust Anthropic and OpenAI not be improving their models based on your input.

I believe that Elon is in fact selling inference data center time under SpaceX (which does own Twitter), some of which may be used to buy cybertrucks.

Is the waste higher in the unpowered machine than the powered machine? Because saving electricity at the cost of water isn't necessarily a good thing .

Why would anyone want a 100-yr bond over equity? It seems like the biggest risk for the bond is the health of the underlying company.

No way Google is going to bake the ads into training data. Their entire business is built on auctioning off each ad slot in realtime.

Unenforceable disclaimers to discourage people from holding you responsible have always existed. "Stay 300 ft back from truck", etc.

With AI, that might be enough of a disclosure, but it might not.

Do you expect them to include a red flashing light and alarm in the middle of the scene? The credits are where I would expect to see those disclosures
