>Sleeping well, eating well and exercising does work. Science about this is well-established. So why arent we?
Those will give you at best another marginal decade. By all means worth doing but its not radical life extension. At the same time a young body can take lack of sleep and can physically perform even if not exercising much better than an old one. So there's more to it than just lifestyle.

>What model year? I'm guessing it's an older one?
Not 100% sure which year since it wasn't mine I think around 2018 +-2y. It was good at following bright painted white lines and nothing else. I didn't mind the beeping and the vibration when I stepped on a line but it wanted to actively steer the wheel which was infuriating. I wouldn't mind it if it was just a suggestion.

Ive had similar experience with a Hyundai with steering assist. It would get confused by messed road lining all the time. Meanwhile it had no problem climbing a road curb that was unmarked. And it would try to constantly nudge the steering wheel meaning I had to put force into holding it in place all the time since it which was extra fatigue.
Oh and it was on by default, meaning I had to disable it every time I turned the car on.

Radiosurgery has it's limits and also horrible side effects esp in CNS tumors. If the tumor can be accessed without damaging too much healthy tissue and it's a histological type that has clean borders you are probably better off cutting it out.

The decline in price per kg from Falcon 9 has made a big difference and yet it's nowhere near as impactful as Starship is going to be... falcon 9 is either too powerful for LEO missions and limited by fairing volume( so can't really launch space stations on a falcon 9) or too weak to push further into GEO and into the solar system. Starship will enable a lot of LEO applications previously unthinkable.

>I also think the conclusion of the research and the poster you responded to is rather wrong. It doesn't matter how long you live if that longevity isn't pleasantly usable.
Agreed. The "human body is a battery" type of arguments are a common misconception and have their roots on the fact that the only positive thing we've found about inflammation so far is that it's an integral part of muscle growth as a response to exercise stimuli/stress via the mtor pathways. But that's a one-off you don't need continuous inflammation to maintain your muscle and enjoy the long term benefits of it.
Oh and the plant based protein is also wrong as that protein is 99% of the time incomplete. You need multiple sources.

There is a statistically inverse relationship between diameter of the muscle mass of the legs and dementia[1]. Higher muscle mass has more capacity to store glycogen and in a higher priority than insulin-activated GLUT receptors which in tern means less glucose and insulin spikes. And we do know that high glucose levels are inflammatory.
Point being, a more anabolic lifestyle with higher muscle mass has direct benefits in metabolic syndrome and cognitive decline, so your trade-off is incorrect.
[1] https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle...
