None of what you described is hard either. Tediously prone to mistakes due to complexity or lack of attention to detail? Sure. But you do that once or twice and suddenly it really doesn’t seem all that hard. I’m with you on “annoying” though!

Specifically to the questions about my status and wealth: All yes. Absolutely all yes. Am I evil for being part of the 1%? Yes. Am I evil for hoarding? Yes. Is/was the work evil on its face? Yes.

I am honest these days about my life, choices, etc. I have done much that is flatly wrong and I would love to somehow make up for it. I cannot. Society is structured in such a way to promote evil and suppress good. That structure is continually reinforced by evil people seeking to retain their advantage.

A thing is what it is.

There was no evidence for “poor people are evil”. But there’s ample evidence for “rich people are evil”. What makes a person think they deserve more than another? What makes a person ignore laws and norms to make a buck? At the expense of others?

Evil. Yes it’s fashionable. Doesn’t make it untrue.

You know, I'll be that guy and say the following: Since you stepped back in time, I went back even further. I just stopped consuming content on the web that isn't YouTube, this site, or Kagi News.

It's all crap in my estimation and I'm better off without it polluting my brain. Still need to kick HN & YouTube though, it's a WIP.

Maybe someday I'll regain the focus to read books in a single sitting again.

Along with this we need the revocation of corporate charters and the liquidation of all assets belonging to the owners of any corp that is dissolved in this manner. The penalty for fucking over the public in general should be a lifetime of poverty.

Absolutely hate this framing. I care but I don’t have the requisite education to understand what I’m reading. I need it explained by someone who has taken up that specialization.

But to say that because I have walked another path in life that I don’t care?!? Because I have chosen a different specialization?? Deeply insulting AND untrue AND unrealistic. Our society is based on specialization at this point. If we cannot rely on each other for these basic communication tasks, then society must be dead, eh?
