So many of these articles get it completely wrong. Economically. People weren't going crazy for tulips just because, the government had incentivized investment in tulips. The government at the time basically told people that they could not lose money on investing tulips. It should be a story about governments misallocating resources. That's it, but people quit. Keep twisting it into a story of psychology and mania which it was not.

Exactly, especially if they have to immediately start repaying $10's of billions in debt that GameStop wanted to put them in. Whole thing is just dumb of the CEO.

Thank you! What I'm thinking is a Gdrive replacement for my phone/desktop that I host myself.

Can I ask, what do you mean with plenty of programs that sync over scp...? Just using like Filezilla is the same really.

Just bought a used switch there yesterday, 2 guys are selling or trading some kind of game card, kid and his dad getting a PS4... Like you say, no one goes to game stop anymore, it's too crowded ;)

yes, Bitcoin was hijacked by the company, Blockstream and they injected the SegWit and RBF attacks to kill it as a currency, Bitcoin Cash still functions as Bitcoin however.

Monero is similar to Bitcoin Cash, a useful replacement for cash in most cases.

You'll get nothing but up votes here on HN, a lot are still angry they missed the boat.

But solving the problem of how to transfer value trustlessly and anonymously, instantly anywhere in the world is one of the biggest breakthroughs since the Internet.

Amazing how in a few short years kids started growing up with Bitcoin and don't understand how it work or why it exists :(
