Who the fuck is up voting articles from 2011? Where is the moderation around here. Make sure the date is in the title.

Why don't the powers that be make a new image animated image format that is bandwidth conservative? I don't get why Google/Apple/Microsoft/Adobe haven't jumped on this. Or maybe I do, they don't use animated GIFs. Fuck. If only Reddit/imgur/Internet forums had any lobbying power.

I'm starting to think "Ask PG" are linkbait titles disguised as "Ask HN".

This whole thread is silly.
The "Bro" has nothing to do with brogrammer or that misogynist culture. It's a pun on "man" pages.
And most people in tech who use the term bro are not referring to the brogrammer culture. They're using the bro slang popularized by MMORPGs/MOBAs/4chan/internet memes, since like World of Warcraft 2004.

What's to talk about? 1440p or 1600p monitors have been out for a long while. You can get an amazing QNIX2710LED for just $400 on Amazon.
I will say gaming grade 1440p/1600p monitors still aren't available, or some combination of gaming grade and high color reproduction (IPS). Some people have had luck overclocking Korean monitors to 120Hz. I don't know if we'll ever see a native 120Hz 2560x1440/1600 IPS monitor (w/Nvidia G-SYNC to boot).

If I planned my life around it, I could live without voice and texting, and rely on instant messaging and Email instead, however I must have LTE. I can't rely on WI-FI everywhere. So, I would be paying some cellular service for LTE, and then I might as well get voice/text.
That said, I just noticed T-Mobile $30/month 100 minute voice, and unlimited data (4G up until 5GB) plan. That's pretty amazing and I will probably jump ship from Verizon.

Well, I wouldn't say drinking coffee or tea is a health benefit. Especially coffee.
I'd say it boils down to how often you drink, serving size, and how much sugar.
