I've heard that both have parts of the spec that are hard to implement if you don't have the software to verify.

How is it a bad thing that both major office software are now documented?

There will never be "one true" org for groups like this anymore. There is no rational reason for a group to put a target on their back.

Leading isolated cells by social media is the new techique to cause change/chaos (depending on your viewpoint).

I'm not saying they are sending the content back, but WhatsApp has to read your message or it couldn't display it, so I don't even know exactly what that particular claim means?

They most likely mean their service or their employees, but this appears to be marketing fluff and not an enforceable statement.
