My goal is to build the only app you need for reading technical documentation. I am working on it daily for the past 5 months, and almost every day I have a new feature which I want to share with HN people and try it out

Mermaid diagrams are awesome, the usual pain points which I am trying to solve in https://mdview.io is to allow to fix broken diagrams visually: you hit Quick Fix and then given 3 fix propositions to choose from. Sounds complicated but it works in 80% of times

This is quite useful tool, especially for the cases where internet access is limited (the flights for example). I implemented it as a separate feature in mdview.io: for example you can export a document as a html file for offline usage, with all the presentation features like reach tables, mermaid and etc built in. btw did you know that ER diagrams are supported by Mermaid diagrams: https://mdview.io/mermaid?example=working-er It's not that pretty as in your app, but it does the work

In my project https://mdview.io I support Latex, but sometimes people share some weird types of syntax which looks like Latex but not rendered correctly. Haven't' found a good way to fix it, probably I will use some hybrid approach which I adopted for broken Mermaid diagrams (LLM + heuristics)

Interesting from a Docker perspective, but I’m more interested in it as a sandbox for AI agents and untrusted code execution.

the idea is that Quick fix may generate > 1 candidates to choose from, this is why Apply exists. But comment is still valid, I need to improve the UX. Diff it is possible to show but I doubt it's has any interest for the user, because in the end we care how it's rendered

this approach is quite similar to what I use for rendering huge markdown files in https://mdview.io : 10MB files renders correctly and even Table of Content works. 15MB renders but scrolling is not as smooth as I wanted, will work on that. One thing I still miss in most markdown tools is good rendering/sharing of large architecture docs and Mermaid diagrams. I ended up building my own markdown file reader - https://mdview.io which handles large diagrams/tables much better than typical note apps
