My pain point (which I admit didn't recheck if someone did something about it), is an interoperable example of how to use Spring (n.1 framework for many enterprises) with Clojure.

Something where I feel Kotlin did better.

For me the best way to introduce something like this is that I can actually start with small software increments on a Spring Java project.

Both Llama 4 Scout and Llama 4 Maverick use a Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) design with 17B active parameters each

Those experts are LLM trained on specific tasks or what?

I don't know which specific LLM your friend used but pasting the error to the LLM usually ends in a endless loop where they tell you to do the same thing over and over again or the solution doesn't really work or generate another error.

So maybe he was lucky or he is using a very good LLM I'm not aware of.

Is that true in general though? I think if you good at the fundamentals the current status of technology is actually not that important. What I'm trying to say is most of us don't send people to Mars so the technological setup is way less important than the right product market fit. If the fundamentals hold you should be fine.

I don't think it's a problem per say but if same company and no role change means I'm hiring someone who doesn't like changes which in certain cases it's ok in certain cases not what someone is looking for. I don't think it's right or wrong without the context of the hiring manager.

No it's not just you.

There is a focus in recovering from post pandemic therefore the marching order is to hire only in India in the case of company as a low cost solution.

But I just did an interview in another company and in their case is also low cost but EU.

So yeah. That's the song playing right now.

I'm absolutely not impressed by reddit search functionality. I like to play metrodivanias but when I want to find something specific for a specific game, the search is just too random.

So I wrote this: https://www.gamingsofa.club/ which is a scraper for metroidvanias reddit posts.

The list of games is taken through Steam and than I just listen to the subreddit for new posts.

Currently I show every possible post even if it gets moderated on reddit.

Regarding tailscale, be sure to remove the expiration flag on your server. That's how I lost mine.

Same happened to me. I used random then deployed to product. I could see the CPU on grafana going nuts. That was one rollback I never forgot.

For me it's how you discover one by one elements of the history of the "aliens" and how you use the physics to solve some puzzles. I also love the story. IMHO is one of the best videogames ever made together with Obra Dinn
