You said they have no chance, and maybe that's true for the next world cup, but Argentina is a factory of top players across all leagues, and the Argentina team has been to 7 World Cup finals, winning 3, and 6 of those were since 1978 (so out of 13 world cups, Argentina was a finalist in 6, and won half of those), and except 2002, Argentina always reaches knockout stages and beyond.

Highest COL in the country, a lot of it due to regulations, zoning and prop 13 which prevent density and building. Paris has the same area as SF but 3X the population.

Not true, I had J1 visas without US government program intervention and I still had the home requirement. Since there wasn't any US government intervention I was able to get a waiver for the home requirement, but it took a couple of months.
