I was talking to a very drunk Republican girl the other day. We were having a small argument about why we would send medical support to Africa for AIDS. Her argument was something about fixing America first (I was also drunk).

I asked if she regretted her vote for Trump after several people she knew lost their government contracting jobs, and she said "No, fuck that guy, I didn't vote for him."

We're rapidly stumbling into the future of media.

Who would've imagined a year ago that trivial AI image generation would not only be this advanced, but also this pervasive in the mainstream.

And now video is already this good. We'll have full audio/video clips within a month.

Well yeah, but just don't call them out.

If you identify a problem, the person responsible will (usually) know you're talking about them, and may even appreciate that you're not calling them out in front of the team.

If necessary, you can always reach out to them one-on-one afterwards.

Judging from the current sentiment around piracy among younger generations, I've concluded that MPAA/RIAA propaganda against piracy has been a rousing success.

My philosophy has always been: Pay for things if you are able, it's convenient, and pricing is fair. And if piracy is easier than paying, piracy always wins.

It's the reason I buy all my video games now and rarely pirate music anymore, but half of my TV and movies come through my seedbox.
