Ethereum made the switch from PoW to PoS in 2022. It was called The Merge https://ethereum.org/roadmap/merge
It’s unlikely that Bitcoin will ever do the same, for the same reason Ethereum was created separately in the first place: they (BTC community in general) don’t want to add or change anything, because they perceive that as diminishing its value. Oh well.

I’ve used DeFi for as long as it’s been around and will continue to do so. It’s safer and can be more profitable than TradFi, even with stablecoin yield. It’s a larger area than you might realise, and there is a lot more to it than degen gambling.

Wellbeing is one thing (I know I would enjoy this a lot more than an office) but long term UV exposure is not forgiving for longevity. I could find sources, but it’s not my area; my partner is a dermatologist and I take her advice on this. It’s worth wearing sunscreen every day (even in the winter), though I believe you have to be careful about choosing products in some places like the US, where sunscreens can be zinc-based.
It’s basically something easy you can do in your morning routine every day that will lower your risk of developing skin cancer and some other problems.

This might be fun for a while, but in the long term you're asking for an increased skin cancer risk. Sorry to be a downer.

The EU is not like the USA. We can have regional independence/self-governance and international cooperation, prosperity and peace, without needing a controlling national structure.
Britain is and always has been a European island. We’ll be back in the EU in a generation or less.

No, it shouldn't. The majority of the deforestation happening now (e.g. in Brazil) is to raise cattle, or to produce feed such as soybeans for farmed animals; the water for almonds and avocado trees pales in comparison to these activities, as do food miles.
A vegan diet saves much more than a carnist one does, even if it's more local; here in Europe, we have sheep deserts (e.g. Iceland, much of UK) that can be rewilded if more people adopt a vegan diet.
