I’ve been playing a lot of 1.6 at play-cs.com recently and enjoy it way more than csgo. I think cs source was maybe the sweet spot but I agree that the maps now are too busy and distracting and take away from the gameplay.

That scene was pretty interesting but can’t help notice that all the automatic guns just fired endlessly. There were a few reloads but it’s astonishing how fast you go through 30 rounds and they were firing way longer uninterrupted. On another note that final shot was amazing cinematography.

Sunrise means that the sun is fully above the horizon. Dusk is when the sun light is starting to appear but the sun is still below the horizon. So yea I think the original 99% is experiencing daylight is from from accurate but almost everyone will be experiencing sunlight… technically.

I could have used this advice in the last couple of weeks. I chose to be more candid because I thought I had a good rapport with my management and I was only things I’d already complained about. I guess I have a few regrets now and it’s very likely I’ll end up working with them again so hopefully they took the feedback positively.

When I worked as contractor I was flown out to an office in London. They paid for all the tickets and hotels for two weeks. They said it was critical to have us in the office. After the first 1 hour introduction meeting I never saw them again. Massive waste of money on their end but I had a great time experiencing a new country and even took a weekend trip to Brussels which was awesome.

I think the parallel to Antarctica "colonies" is the closest thing to Mars colonies Antarctica is nearly inhospitable in terms of food production. There currently are about 5k people there in the summer session but it's mostly science based work. Certainly the is a lot of new science we could do on a different planet so I think that would be a big motivation

From Mike Brown's Twitter:
> My biggest fear, though, is the Milky Way galaxy. There are SO MANY stars that we tend to avoid even looking there. But our predicted region goes through the Milky Way. So we are going to have to deal. We're testing a little of that this week, (Dec 9)
If it is indeed in that region it may be a long time before we detect P9. But I'm optimistic that they'll find it in their latest survey they did. Mike Brown is extremely experienced at finding objects in the outer solar system so if he's confident that they'll find it soon than so am I.
